Meet the Admins!

Hi! Whats your name?

MidnightSoiree! Nice to meet you!

What's your motto?

My current motto, (because I'm constantly changing them) is "The greatest discovery is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.-William James"

It's true on so many levels. Positive people live positive lives.

What kind of artist are you?

I'm a lazy artist! ( HA! ) I'm kind of a mixed artist, because there's so many things I like to do. I mainly draw anime and manga. That's been a passion of mine for a really long time. Next, I suppose I would be a digital artist, then lastly, probably a crafter. I like to sew, knit, color, craft, make jewelry. Lots of things.

What inspired you to be an artist?

I had a cousin who drew anime, and it kind of rubbed off on me at an early age. I think I must have read my first manga around that time. But, I just always keep that in mind, how she was such an influence to my art. Today, without her, I would have probably not been an artist. ( I probably would have been a politician. )

What are your favorite pass times?

Reading, Internet, Drawing, Crafting, looking up photography, wish-traveling, watching SyFy series (I love Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth!). I like to write, play flute, and watch baseball!

Who's your favorite artist on deviant ART?

Lately, I've found so many wonderful artists, its really hard to say anymore, but I think my very, very favorite has to be loish. I love her style, the usage of color and light.

Tell us a little about yourself!

I'm an obsessive baseball fanatic. You can catch me any day watching baseball, dreaming about baseball, checking injury updates. I LOVE BASEBALL. The grass, the dirt, the bases, the sluggers, it's all just SO WONDERFUL. (And yes, it does merit all caps.)

I'm generally undefined in any particular way. I just like to do little projects and things as they come. Because, I variety really is the spice of life!

Hi! What's your name?

Hello, everyone. My name is Leeanna. Friends call me Lee or Leelee for short. I would like  to say a big hello and welcome to all of you here. New members and not-so-new ones!

What's your motto?

I don't have a specific motto per se, but I do have a lot of motivational quotes that I pull out of the vault when I need them. They get me through the day or a mood if need be. Most of them are from songs, books, poems or motivational comments in itself.

What kind of artist are you?

OH. Well I'm a Graphic Artist. Which pretty much means I know many different styles of art. However, at the moment and on this account; I've taken focus on Photo-manipulation. I'm a varied artist, so looking at my humble gallery you'll see some different styles.

What inspired you to be an artist?

To be honest, ever sense I can recall, I've loved drawing things, or making crafts. To create new things, I find inspiration in people, music, songs, poems, nature! I'm the only one in my immediate family that has an artistic side. My mum loves art, but she has never drawn anything. I just love to hear and see beautiful things, and magnify on their beauty. It gives off a splendid, Zen-like feeling.

What are your favourite pass times?

If I'm not at work, I'm on deviantART and dAmn. I love chatting with folks. If I'm not doing this, I'm designing artwork and experimenting on things. On Saturdays I always look forward to playing Football [Soccer] it's one of my favourite things. I love to hang out with my local friends when the time is supplied. And, I'm a fan of many platform games, or games in general!

Who's your favourite artist on deviant ART?

I can't specifically say I have a favourite artist on deviantART, because I haven't seen all the artists/ met them, here. They are a couple of them who motivate me, but I won't be able to class them all as my favourites. They all offer different angles of art and the interpretation of them and they all contribute wholly.

Tell us a little about yourself!

Ahah. Well, I'm an introspective and introverted person. I observe people and their interactions both near and far and make decisions on those. I love those who I call friends and while I've made my own mistakes in life and the lot, I've also learned from it and matured. I am always willing to listen to persons, and offer advice, a shoulder, an ear, give a hug or up-building words of encouragement. Now, I promised to myself to not make this lengthy because we have other members of staff who are just as eager to meet you!
In conclusion, it's was nice meeting you all, I hope to converse with a lot of you here and get to know you too.
Before I leave, I would like to leave you some fine words to think about:

"Life is what we make it and we shall find what we look for. If we look for sadness and trouble, if we are in a frame of mind to magnify little difficulties, we shall find plenty to engross our thought and our conversation. If we look on the bright side of things, we shall find enough to make us cheerful and happy. If we give smiles, they will be returned to us; if we speak pleasant, cheerful words, they will be spoken to us again."

Hi! Whats your name?

Well, as you can see by my name hovering directly over this post, I'm =ValentineRain! I go by a bunch of stuff around here; Valentine, Val, VR, whatever floats your metaphorical boat! If you want to call me Phillip or Sally or something like that, I guess that's fine, too.

What's your motto?

There are lots of annoying little quips I like to blurt out often, but nothing I would really consider a motto. The majority of my classmates know me as the guy who vandalizes all of the chalkboards with "Dopefish Lives!", so let's go with that.

What kind of artist are you?

First and foremost, I'm a writer. It's something I really enjoy doing, but it's sort of a pain in the butt in English classes 'cause I haven't actually learned anything in one since early elementary school.
I also do a lot of digital art. Photoshop is my best friend, since I can't make pencils do what I want. Someday I want to learn to paint without using my fingers.

What inspired you to be an artist?

Well, writing is something I've just always done, though I've always really hated doing school prompts.
I doodled a lot when I was younger, but none of it looked decent. I only started drawing seriously a few years ago, after being awe-struck by the work of one of my classmates.
Today, you can almost tell what the stuff I draw was supposed to be!

What are your favorite pass times?

Gaming. I haven't been outside in years.

Who's your favorite artist on deviant ART?

I don't think I could ever single one out. There are so many amazing artists here, and then a million more that put the first ones to shame.
Though if I had to single a few out around here, I'd point to my real-life friends. I've had the privilege of watching their artwork grow in person, and get to see the stuff they don't consider 'good' enough to post.

Tell us a little about yourself!

I'm not really an introvert or extrovert. I tend to just go with whatever fits at the moment. Crazy parties? I'm game. Alone with a book? I'm down with that, too.

I really love music, and doing embarrassing things on stage (often combining the two).

Unfortunately I'm also too lazy to go anywhere with it.
I also love sarcasm, so you're going to have to read everything I say a few times to make sure I'm not messing with you. Including that. Or does it? Hmmm...
